A Retro-Futuristic Vision Brought to Life. Inspired by the way past generations imagined the distant future, retro-futurism lies at the heart of the Ganzo 60, a custom keyboard meticulously crafted by our designer, Han, here at WinMix. The primary inspiration for this design stems from the iconic 1997 film The Fifth Element, directed by Luc Besson. Known for its vibrant aesthetics, bold color palette, and minimalist yet wildly imaginative futurism, the film remains a visual masterpiece even after nearly three decades. Han channeled his passion into this project, reimagining the film’s iconic design language to create something truly unique. The result is the Ganzo 60—a bespoke custom keyboard that blends nostalgia with a refreshing modern twist. Today, we’re thrilled to present this fusion of past and future to you.

Exploded View

Structurally, through iterations and optimizations over previous generations, we have ultimately defined a custom full-CNC spray-coated design with a hand-tightened screw structure, fixed along the X and Y axes to enable quick disassembly.

We have deconstructed and redefined the concepts of the top and bottom case and the weight. The large curved structure allows for a comfortable typing experience even without a wrist rest.

The USB-C port and daughterboard have also been redesigned. The anodized backplate hides the daughterboard outside the bottom case, allowing the PCB to be placed in an almost flat bottom shell, resulting in a purer sound when typing.

Layout

Innovatively, we have integrated a columnar Planck layout into the keyboard, allowing keycap enthusiasts to mix and match their ideal "perfect" symmetrical keyboard layout. Additionally, the dual internal frames include a standard ANSI and ISO-compatible 60% layout. It also supports split right SHIFT, hot-swappable rotary encoders, and split spacebars, enhancing both playability and practicality.

Design

We continue to incorporate the retro design from previous models while pioneering the split wrist rest integration, making it seamlessly blend with the keyboard for improved desktop aesthetics and ergonomic design.

The body features multiple crafting techniques, including sandblasting, painting, and anodization, achieving a unique retro-modern synthwave style.
